anonymous faces

While in Washington D.C. i felt like shooting street photography against the sun light for some reason. i love how people play with flare, warm tons and bleached out backgrounds but i felt like exploring something different rather than just doing the same old thing…

then i just felt like reversing the whole process and shooting B&W dark silouhettes of people walking, running, cycling, doing whatever, which basically means exit flare, warm tons and bleached out backgrounds. second thing i knew, since this is street photography, i wouldn’t know any of these people, especially while on a trip overseas, so i thought i would leave it like that and even amplify it by underexposing their faces…

this is how i went on shooting anonymous marching people, which i'm pursuing everywhere else now...

funny how one can end up that far away from his original idea...
